Resume
Chlorine, 24/7

It was only in Secondary 2 that I started swimming competitively, and can proudly say that I represented my school's swim team.

Am currently swimming for an external swim club - S70, and I hope to represent NP's swim team next year.

My ultimate goal is to be worthy of representing my beloved country at the highest level of international sporting events.

I have always loved music since young and thus, taught myself how to play the guitar and electric keyboard with the help of the internet.
Stress Relief
I have always been keen to find new hobbies for myself.
Having activities to do during my free time allows me to distract myself from the stress that I constantly face in school and in swimming!

During the circuit breaker period, I had a lot of spare time to myself. Hence, I picked up painting as a new hobby, as it allows me to express my thoughts and feelings.

I always love taking photographs whenever I can. Beautiful views and calming music are therapeutic for sure!

Volunteering
I love helping others whenever I can. I take up volunteering opportunities and use them for self-growth. Seeing others happy makes me happy too!
Events that I have volunteered at:
2018
- 1st Senja Cashew Junior Swim Meet
- 6th Cross Culture Swim Meet
- 8th Senja Cashew Swim Race
- Carpe Diem Starlets Children Centre Family Day
2019
- Officials at 19th WCC (Warren Golf and Country Club) Annual Age Group Swim Meet
- Timekeeping at Merlion League Swimming Competition
What I did:
- Helping to manage swim meets
- Timing the swimmers
- Helping manage children at the Family Day event
My takeaways:
Patience is key. We had to sit under the hot sun during swim meets.
Children are not easy to handle, we had to have patience and talk to them nicely to ensure that the Family Day event goes smoothly.
